【Music CAMP】


【Course Introduction】

Enjoy the music fun, science games / Arts & Crafts / Story time in 1.5 hours! Engaging the music routine which serves the kids with a steady & rhythmic groove, short song repertoire, and movement. “Wow,” experience in creative exploration. Having Arts and Crafts relates to the story told which enhances their understanding.

【Class Date and Time】

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon
Phase 1: June 26-July 7 (26/6, 28/6, 30/6, 3/7, 5/7, 7/7)
The second period: July 17-July 28 (17/7, 19/7, 21/7, 24/7, 26/7, 28/7)
The third period: August 14th – August 25th (14/8, 16/8, 18/8, 21/8, 23/8, 25/8)
***The content of each issue is different! ***
There are 6 sessions in total, each session is 1 hour and 30 minutes
Fee: $2100 per session (6 sessions)
*This course is suitable for children aged 3-6, with a maximum of 8 people per class.


【Candace Bio

Candace Lee has over 15 years of experience in early childhood and special education. Believe that music is full of natural healing energy. Have considerable confidence in helping students develop an interest in learning music and self-learning ability. She used to be the Head Teacher of Gymboree Play & Music (HK) and is now cooperating with different organizations, such as the St. James’ Settlement’s Jockey Club Artspiration Academy and other rehabilitation services. She lays a solid foundation for children’s musical learning through different instruments and singing.

【Course Introduction】

Learning proper vocal skills and handling a few of the most challenging Disney songs. From the very first note to the completion of the song, the children will also gain confidence in singing with clear diction, pronunciation, and use of breath.

【Class Date and Time】

July 20th – August 24th (every Thursday) There are 6 sessions in total, each session lasts 45 minutes
Class A: 10:00 am – 10:45 am
Class B: 11:00 am – 11:45 am
Class C: 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm
Class D: 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm
Cost: $1740 (6 sessions)
*This course is suitable for children aged 3-6 who love singing and Disney songs.


Lok Wa Bio

LOK Yan Wa, also known as LOK Wa, is a singer, an a cappella performer, and a vocal coach. She formed the group SIS with her sister Lok Yan Ming and won the Best New Artist award at at Radio 903 Their creative songs are widely popular, including “It’s Good to Have Dreams” and “Thank You,”. The song “Thank You” has even garnered over one million clicks, making it a popular choice for young people and children at graduation ceremonies or Thanksgiving events. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in music and linguistics and also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in English from the same university, majoring in English education. She has coached various choirs, including the University of Hong Kong Chamber Choir, and studied conducting techniques under Dr. M.J. Ryan. During her university days, LOK was a soprano, arranger, and music director for the University of Hong Kong A Cappella Choir Mosaic. She later formed Metappella with friends, attending numerous commercial performances, and collaborating with partners such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Art for Everyone (Aftec), Home Affairs Department, HSBC, Cathay Pacific, and Henderson Land Development.

In addition to her rich experience in arranging and singing, LOK is also an experienced vocal coach and a cappella music director. She currently teaches primary, secondary, and adult a cappella and vocal courses and has taught or is currently teaching at schools such as the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University-affiliated college, Cheung Chuk Shan Secondary School, St. Rose of Lima’s College, Law Ting Pong Secondary School, SALEM Immanuel Lutheran College, and Precious Blood Secondary School. LOK has also served as a music teacher for Belilios Public School and Hong Kong True Light Middle School Primary Division, promoting a cappella culture and helping students establish multiple a cappella teams. She has also written scripts and choreographed for True Light Middle School’s musicals. In recent years, she has been actively nurturing the next generation of singing talent, and this year marks the third year of organising the Disney English Music Courses

Yat Yat Yat Kids Song was founded by Mr. Ng Cheuk Yin. He is devoted to letting our younger generation enjoy Cantonese Kids’ songs with correct pronunciation and know more variety of vocabulary. All songs are original and Selected from the Yat Yat Yat Kids Song playlist.
*This program also welcomes non-Cantonese-speaking children.

【Course Introduction】

What is Theater? The kids are going to explore Theater through different interactive theater games! It’s more than just showing a happy, angry, sad, and smiley face, but also discovering more about their body mobility, verbal and non-verbal expression, and more.
*Cantonese is the teaching medium.


【Class Date and Time】

July 25th – August 18th (every Tuesday and Friday)
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
There are 8 sessions in total, 1 hour per session, taught in Cantonese
Cost: $1980 (8 sessions)
*This course is suitable for children aged 3-6 who want to experience drama art.


Bio

DAMIEN graduated from the Drama School of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) degree, majoring in Performance. Currently working as an actor, director, drama instructor, and freelance artist. He has also worked as a drama, voice, and musical theatre instructor for different arts groups and schools, teaching courses for children, teenagers, and adults.
